Role & seniority: Senior/DRAM Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) within Micron Global Quality

Lead DRAM-related customer quality initiatives, issue resolution, and continuous improvement to deliver best-in-class supplier quality
Act as the voice of the customer; ensure customer requirements are reflected in processes, procedures, and standards; manage 8D problem solving and closed-loop actions
Run monthly quality reviews with customers, track scorecards, and coordinate multi-functional teams to meet customer needs and prevent recurrence
Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Field Applications Engineering, Technical Sales, or DRAM (product/test/design/application/systems)
Strong written/verbal English communication; self-initiative; independent work style
Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across functions
Experience leading customer-facing quality programs and metrics (scorecards, MQRs)
Formal project leadership or program management experience; ability to translate needs into actionable plans
Familiarity with DRAM tech

As a Senior/ DRAM Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) within the Global Quality (GQ) Organization at Micron Technology, Inc., you will play a meaningful role to handle our customers’ quality requirements so that we are able to deliver an outstanding customer quality experience. You are accountable for identifying plans to bring Micron to the best in class supplier quality position. You will interact regularly with sales, field application engineers and internal collaborators to maintain alignment on quality and reliability issues and cultivate strong customer relationships. In addition, you have the opportunity to lead DRAM-related technical projects to improve the customer’s overall quality experience. Act as the voice of the customer within Micron! Provide technical issue resolution support to customers. Lead critical customer-related DRAM improvement projects and initiatives Ensure customer requirements are reflected in processes, procedures & standards Drive quality-related proactive and reactive communication Lead customer quality scorecard tracking and improvement efforts Run, schedule and lead monthly quality reviews (MQR’s) with customers Work with different internal teams to ensure robust, closed loop on customer requests/ requirement and 8D problem solving process to prevent issue recurrence Demonstrate leadership, pro-activeness, assertiveness and accountability Possess intellectual curiosity to fully understand customer experience, associated with quality issues
