Role & seniority: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET); Java-focused QA engineer with an engineering mindset

The Role In this role, you will spend the majority of your time writing code. You will design, extend, and maintain an automation framework that ensures our enterprise-scale web applications are resilient and scalable.
Architect & Build: Design and maintain a Java-based automation framework using OOP best practices.
Scale Testing: Write and execute sophisticated automated test cases using Selenium and Cucumber within a Spring environment.
Collaborate: Partner with development teams to identify "testability" gaps and prioritize automation opportunities early in the SDLC.
Peer Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure automation scripts are as maintainable and scalable as the production code they test.
Solve Problems: Troubleshoot complex logic issues and debug framework-level challenges.
Strategic QA: Identify high-value candidates for automation and document test scenarios for complex workflows. What We’re Looking For We care most about your ability to write clean, logical code. You should consider yourself a Java Developer whose specialty is Quality Engineering.
Java Prowess: You must be able to comfortably demonstrate deep knowledge of Java (OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, and logic).
Problem Solvers: Strong critical thinking and debugging skills are a must.
