Description
Software Quality Assurance Engineer: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our complex software systems. Your expertise in test automation, performance testing, and security testing will be essential to delivering exceptional software products.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using tools like Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid with BDD approach
Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases, and execute tests to ensure product quality.
Defect Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools like Jira.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like C#, Kafka
Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of SQL and Cosmos databases.
Mentorship: Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality within the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance. Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium). Knowledge of Kafka, C# and MS SQL In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps) Experience with API testing, web services testing, and Kafka framework. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, gray-box). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with security testing tools and techniques. Experience with performance testing tools and techniques. Background in healthcare industry (nice to have - not required)
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $58.00/hour-$66.00/hour
