THE ROLE We are looking for a talented QA Engineer who can meet our technical bar, is willing to tackle challenging problems, and is a great fit to our open, driven, and collaborative team culture. Join our small but growing engineering team by making a significant impact when building our in-house products and solving complex problems from startups and companies seeking for our help. AS A QA ENGINEER, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Review, analyze and clarify software specifications. Work closely with development team to design testing strategies. Define test plans that ensure solid coverage and prevent regressions. Manage constraints and priority, involve necessary QA processes and testing approaches (manual, automation). Develop, maintain and execute test flows and test cases. Report, track, and monitor defects in the defect tracking system. Execute exploratory testing (unknown bugs, non-functional requirements). Constantly improve testing approach in term of quality and efficiency. Candidly and respectfully share your wisdom and knowledge for the betterment of our team and our products. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU A smart and driven developer who is motivated to build great products and learn new skills. Great communication skills and a desire to collaborate with the team. An interest in taking on more responsibility and ownership over time. Ability to solve complex and challenging problems. Taking pride in your work with the ability to write clean code and tests. QUALIFICATIONS At least 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role with automation and with manual testing. Good experience in writing solid test plan, test cases based on requirements, constraints and priority. Working on automation tests with open source projects is a big plus (E2E testing, CI/CD integration testing, web API testing, mobile automation testing). Basic knowledge of testing methodology and tools, experience with Agile methodology is a plus. An ISTQB certification is a plus. Structured way of thinking, ability to work accurately with high attention to details. Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority.
