Lead the design, development, and execution of test automation frameworks using Playwright for web and Appium for mobile platforms Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, automated test scripts to ensure quality and reliability across all applications Drive the adoption and implementation of new testing strategies, tools, and techniques to improve product quality Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test scripts, and automated test environments Analyze testing results, identify potential issues, and collaborate with development teams to suggest improvements and optimizations Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing expertise and leadership in automation testing practices Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of test automation systems in a continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) environment Collaborate with the development team, ensuring 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time for effective communication
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or in a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing Expertise in agile development practices and Scrum methodologies In-depth understanding of various testing methodologies including regression, functional, performance, and security testing Proficiency with Playwright (Framework development from Scratch), Appium (Framework development from Scratch), Cypress, Selenium as well as experience with API testing Strong skills in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, and TypeScript (nice-to-have) Extensive experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI (nice-to-have) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and virtualized test environments (AWS, Azure, Docker) (nice-to-have) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
