Role & seniority: Supplier Quality Engineer – Cell (mid-level to experienced; requires ≥3 years in cell manufacturing and ≥2 years in automotive supplier quality)

Supplier Quality Engineer - Cell Location FORVIA HELLA is a listed international automotive supplier. YOUR TASKS GENERAL TEXT Evaluate purchased parts feasibility study before sourcing; Decision on supplier sourcing committee with exact quality data; Quality planning for purchased parts APQP process, follow up the purchased parts sample submit schedule, and coordinate with project team. Drive solution of part-specific quality concerns and develop appropriate action plans with suppliers and follow up actions; Try the best to make sure purchased parts can reach Hella specification; Carry out Process Audits according to VDA 6.3 and Full Run (Run@Rate) at the supplier plant; Evaluate ISIR/PPAP report of supplier parts and give the decision to release the parts; Complaints handling for supplier quality issues As core expert in cells supplier quality management, responsible for new cell supplier development and evaluation, driving the implementation of quality strategies, leading the resolution of critical cell quality issues, and providing professional guidance to internal and external teams.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or above in Materials Science, Electrochemistry, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a cell manufacturing company. 2 years’ experience in supplier quality area in Automotive industry; Direct experience in battery cell supplier quality management is preferred. Professional knowledge of quality-related rules within the automotive branch, such as IATF 16949/VDA 6 and APQP, PPAP etc.; Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teamwork; Willingness to travel to supplier and can handle problems properly; Fluent English communication skills are necessary.
