Must-have skills: Degree in electro-mechanical engineering (or equivalent); ≥2 years’ experience; strong technical documentation and attention to detail; rigorous safety protocol adherence; fluency in French and English.

Nice-to-haves: Polish and/or German; interest/experience in the Defense sector; pyrotechnical knowledge or demonstrated interest; IVVQ knowledge; willingness to travel abroad.

Job Description Location: Liège
As a Test Engineer specializing in pyrotechnical testing, you will be responsible for conducting and managing critical trials in various environments, from controlled facilities to military firing ranges. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive testing that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will play a key role in
Preparing, organizing, and performing trials requested by other departments, including pyrotechnical product management, external facilities, and/or on military firing ranges Elaborating complete and timely test reports for all performed tests, ensuring thorough documentation of procedures and results Contributing to the global test planning process, including daily follow-up, and ensuring proper allocation of necessary test facilities based on different test demands Establishing and managing test capacities, including user manual creation, maintenance management, and conducting user training Providing technical assistance during firing campaigns and training sessions abroad for Program and After Sales services Training and supporting backup personnel on test facilities and procedures Identifying opportunities for test facility upgrades and analyzing potential investments in new test equipment Your profile Electro-mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years of experience Strong technical documentation skills with attention to detail and precision Rigorous approach to safety protocols and testing procedures Fluency in French and English Polish and/or German language skills are a plus Willingness to travel abroad for testing campaigns and client support Interest or experience in the Defense sector Pyrotechnical knowledge or demonstrated interest in the field is a plus IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification) knowledge is advantageous What You'll Love About Working Here
