We are seeking a dynamic, hands on Integration Test & Evaluation Lead Engineer to own end to end planning, execution, and reporting of flight hardware test programs.
The incumbent will lead cross functional teams assisting with hardware in the loop (HWIL), environmental DVT, ESS, and RF testing activities, coordinating range and flight test events.
This role requires strong technical breadth, excellent communication skills, and proven experience briefing senior U.S. government stakeholders and Lockheed Martin leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
Program Leadership – Develop and maintain the integrated test master plan; schedule, allocate, and track test resources across RF, HWIL, environmental, and ESS test domains. Range & Flight Test Coordination – Lead all range site activities, flight test logistics, and certification documentation; act as the primary point of contact with range operators and government test agencies. Test Execution & Oversight – Direct test procedure development, hardware integration, and execution; ensure test data is captured, validated, calibrated, and securely archived. Technical mentorship – Teach and guide junior engineers on electrical, software, and mechanical fundamentals; foster a multi disciplinary culture of problem solving. Stakeholder Communication – Prepare and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and written reports (status, performance, corrective actions) to U.S. government customers and internal leadership. Equipment Management – Oversee test equipment inventory, calibration, and security compliance; coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting with support teams. Continuous Improvement – Identify inefficiencies in the I&T flow, drive corrective actions, and implement best practice processes to improve program schedule and cost performance.
