THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Senior Testing Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in software testing and automation. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, implementing automation frameworks, and ensuring the quality, security, and performance of XenonStack’s Agentic AI platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, detail, and excellence, and who wants to contribute to the trust and reliability of enterprise-grade AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution Design and execute test cases, test plans, and scenarios across functional, regression, and integration testing. Identify, document, and track defects, risks, and edge cases. Automation Frameworks Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar). Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable deployments. System & API Testing Perform end-to-end, API, and data validation testing for enterprise AI workflows. Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing for web applications. Performance & Reliability Conduct load, stress, and performance testing to ensure scalability. Collaborate with DevOps to monitor systems and validate production reliability. Collaboration Work with product managers, developers, and AI engineers to ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and aligned with enterprise standards. Partner with security teams to perform compliance and vulnerability testing. Continuous Improvement Analyze test coverage and defect metrics; recommend quality improvements. Advocate for shift-left testing to embed QA early in the SDLC. Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
4–7 years of experience in software testing and QA engineering. Strong understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, system). Hands-on with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG). Strong experience in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript). Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Good-to-Have
Experience testing AI/ML systems, including data validation and model accuracy. Exposure to containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security and compliance testing (SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS). Background in BFSI, GRC, or large-scale enterprise systems.
