Role Overview We’re looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases, ensuring product quality across web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android). You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to maintain our commitment to reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI/UX testing across web and mobile platforms. Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG. Conduct mobile app testing for both iOS and Android, covering usability, performance, and installation checks. Collaborate with development teams using Git or similar source control tools for version management and CI/CD integration. Report, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile/Scrum team. Validate API functionality using tools such as Postman or RestAssured. Ensure complete test coverage for new features, bug fixes, and release cycles. Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing. 1+ year of experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile development practices. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, or equivalent automation frameworks. Experience with Git, Bitbucket, or other version control systems. Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test scripts, and bug reports. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience working with fintech or payments-related platforms. Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). Basic understanding of SQL and database validation. Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
Knowledge of security testing or compliance standards relevant to fintech (e.g: PCI DSS).
