Responsibilities Conduct thorough testing of web and mobile applications to identify and report bugs, defects, and usability issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing. Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, testing tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the QA process. Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience as QA specialist Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a QA Specialist with a focus on web and mobile app testing. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and QA best practices. Proficiency in testing tools and technologies, including but not limited to Selenium, Appium, Jira, and TestRail. Experience with both manual and automated testing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (Git). Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured. Understanding of SQL for database validation and testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
