Job Description

This is a permanent role with a Series B funded startup - A valued client of Options Executive Search.

Who is a Series B-funded company (having raised over 30 million USD so far), an AI-driven SaaS automation provider for corporate finance that automates back-office business processes involving tasks, analytics, and responses in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Corporate finance and accounting teams use their product to accelerate business value while minimizing heavy IT involvement, improving business resilience, lowering attrition, and accelerating business insights. You would be working at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and practical enterprise solutions, driving both technical excellence and business impact in the FinTech space.

Key Responsibilities

To own testing deliverables for both functional and automation testing. Create test scripts, test cases ,test plan and execute same for both functional and automation testing Design and implement functional and automated test suites for both API and UI modules of the product. Design and develop test automation frameworks, tools, and framework enhancements as the product test requirements evolve with the new features introduced. Actively participate in the Scrum team, delivering test automation for sprint features and ensuring high-quality product increments by certifying new and regression features using automated test suites. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and schedule them to run periodically in product development environments. Identify defects, collaborate with development engineers to resolve them, and verify the Fixes. Maintain continuous availability in alignment with startup culture, staying informed and up-to-date with communications across various channels and email Threads. Focus on the primary goal of minimizing customer-reported bugs to near zero.

Qualifications

A four-year engineering degree in computer science or related branch, with 4-6 years as SDET/Test automation experience in the Agile Scrum env, with experience of developing and managing thousands of automated tests. Strong testing skills with good understanding of testing methodologies, concepts and day to day testing process. Experienced in writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents, defect management systems like JIRA. Test framework design, development from scratch. Strong Javascript framework expertise for API or UI Automation. Strong programming experience in Javascript, typescript language Strong hands-on experience on UI automation tools such as Playwright or related automation frameworks. Strong hands-on experience on JavaScript frameworks like JEST, MOCHA, CHAI etc Should have good knowledge on coding and framework practices. Demonstrated experience with source code management tools such as Git/GitHub, code review tools, and code coverage measurement tools. Should have hands-on experience on CI/CD pipeline [Jenkins] - configuration and debugging

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with additional experience or knowledge of Non-Functional Testing - Stress Testing, Scale Testing etc would be preferred. Good to have large-scale UI test automation for Web Apps Good to have experience testing multi-tenant SaaS products, AWS cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Workday is a strong plus. Request to gain some basic knowledge on ERPs before the interviews. Knowledge of OAuth and Single-Sign-On, Chrome developer tools is desired. Experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch are a plus again. .
