Quality Engineer – Intern Position Teradyne is a global technology leader delivering innovative solutions to complex testing challenges. As a Quality Engineer – Intern, you will work closely with our QE Automation Engineers to support testing activities, learn modern QE practices, and contribute to the quality of our software products. This role is ideal for someone eager to explore automation, strengthen technical skills, and gain hands‑on experience in a real engineering environment. Our QE Automation group plays a key role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and security of our applications.

This is a full time position onsite in North Reading- June - August 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios under the guidance of senior QE engineers. Help maintain and organize test cases within Test Management tools. Support the creation and execution of manual test suites for desktop applications. Learn and contribute to developing automated test scripts using established frameworks and tools. Participate in troubleshooting and reproducing software issues, documenting findings clearly. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QE team members to understand testing objectives and project requirements. Assist in collecting and summarizing test metrics and reporting results to the team. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in QE processes, tools, and methodologies.
