We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to play a key role in driving the automation and modernisation of our hybrid IT infrastructure within the Distributed Systems Group (DSG). Tasks Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions across hybrid environments Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, platform, application, and security teams Contribute to automation standards, documentation, and governance Requirements Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) Solid understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, VMware) Experience working in DevOps or agile environments Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Desirable Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) Relevant certifications (Terraform, Azure, AWS) Benefits Hybrid and flexible working Competitive salary and paid leave Health, wellbeing, and insurance benefits Learning, development, and career progression opportunities A diverse, inclusive, and collaborative working environment
