Our Systems Engineering & Integration (PS&DSE&I) sub-practice is looking for a Testing & Commissioning Specialist to oversee the Testing and Commissioning activities on the Calgary Green Line project. Your role Act as primary interface with client representatives, Calgary Transit, contractors, system suppliers, and third-party inspectors for T&C matters. Develop and maintain the Project Testing & Commissioning Management Plan aligned with client requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations. Establish readiness gates and acceptance criteria for progressive commissioning stages. Coordinate T&C activities across civil works, track and systems. Manage interface testing plans between subsystems. Ensure integration test procedures validate end-to-end functionality and safety. Develop and maintain the Integrated T&C Schedule and align T&C milestones with construction completion, energization, safety certification, and trial running. Monitor progress, report variances and escalate risks to program leadership. Review and approve Test Plans, Procedures, and Inspection & Test Records submitted by contractors. Manage a team of testing specialists to complete the test and evaluate the test results. Monitor quality of T&C execution; review ITPs, checklists, and NCR/CAR processes. Ensure corrective actions for failed tests are implemented and verified. Ensure all T&C activities comply with Safety Management System (SMS), Occupational Health & Safety, and Rail Safety Regulations. About you 10+ years in Testing & Commissioning for rail/transit or complex infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of rail systems integration, safety certification, and the CENELEC suite of standards (EN 50126 Parts 1 and 2). Familiarity with signaling & train control systems, CBTC, traction power, SCADA, and station systems. Familiarity with scheduling and management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project. Proven experience in multi-contractor coordination and governance roles. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or equivalent; PMP or PMI-ACP is an asset.
