Senior Field Test Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Field Test Engineer to join our team. The individual will be a part of a high-profile project responsible for performing integration and test activities comprising of field support of on-going projects.

Responsibilities

Perform integration and test activities comprising of field support of on-going project activities.
Performs on-site installation and maintenance of Non- CBTC and CBTC equipment for wayside systems
Perform Field Change modification to existing Designs as needed; Perform field troubleshooting, maintenance in CBTC equipment such as vehicle and wayside systems, and other external tasks related to test documentation and formalization of reports.
Initiates work process procedures as per customer process
Identify problems detected during tests and corrects them as required
Supports Troubleshooting and repair CBTC equipment as required
Provides support of test Carborne and Wayside activities and the planning of field activities
Provides technical support in all operational matters in the functionality of wayside subsystems
Works with diverse departments and becomes involved in all phases of integration, commissioning and support
Promotes customer relations / company credibility
Investigate/Troubleshoot system anomalies through analysis of data files, design documentation and interaction with development departments
Provide summaries and detailing of test activities in the form of both informal and formal test reports

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field or master’s degree in related field
Strong field experience in a rail transit installation, test or support environment or similar technology application is of significance.
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
Effective organizational and communication skills to interact professionally with all levels inside and outside the organization.
Strong process orientation and discipline to ensure compliance with both Corporate and Customer procedures.
