As a Pre silicon validation Engineer you will be interfacing with the silicon validation and char teams by driving functional validation & characterization of microcontroller products. Develop and Build test lists and perform Validation on FPGA.

Key responsibilities in your new role
Responsible for Post Silicon Characterization/Production Test of ARM based micro-controller Consumer, Industrial SoC products, with main focus on Analog IP blocks. Perform characterization to analyze device performance and compliance to datasheet specification. Conceptualize, design and implement hardware and automation software for Characterization/ Production Test of Consumer and Industrial SOCs. Understanding of silicon characterization methodologies, including test plan development, test case creation and result analysis[experience in validation will be an added advantage. Work as technical expert on complex IP's and will be primarily own creation and execution of Char test plans.. Demonstrate communication skills, both in technical writing and Presentations.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
MTech/M.E/MS or B-Tech/B.E in any of the specializations related to the field of Electronics/Computer/Microelectronics/VLSI. 1-3 years of experience in Microcontroller and Pre-silicon and Post-silicon Validation, with a strong understanding of microcontroller and SoC architectures. Proven experience in characterization of Analog, Digital, and Mixed-signal IPs (Knowledge on validation is a significant advantage). Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Source Measure Units(SMUs), Digital Multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, and signal generators. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability. Experience in automating characterization using an SMT7, SMT8 and NI LabVIEWis a plus.
