We currently have a career opportunity for a Lead Technical QA Professional to join our team located in Buckhead, GA.

Job Overview

As a Lead Technical QA Professional you will be responsible for coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals. Leads the analysis efforts within the team and has an expert understanding of critical software analysis efforts across the team and supports the analysis function within the organization. Responsible for the analysis of a broad range of highly complex applications, websites, databases and systems, providing third-level technical support, testing and defect management. Leads team initiatives while simultaneously participating in multiple IT project efforts with limited oversight from leadership. Contributions are felt across a breadth of development efforts. Has a working knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures. Demonstrates a keen understanding of both IT and the business we support. Serves as a subject matter expert for the application, for technologies and integrations, or business processes. Considers the current and future business environment of systems bringing enterprise-level perspective to designs and solutions.

Responsibilities

Conducts analysis of business and system processes, system data, integration, and reporting. Leads forward-looking, long-term application function, integration and maintenance strategies. Performs strategic research and defines, tests, documents and manages requirements according to approved standards/procedures. Serves as the application and technical subject matter expert. Provides defect management of applications, systems, databases, or websites. Predicts potential problems and provides recommendations and documents solutions according to approved standards/procedures. Provides expertise on the resolution of the most complex system design and integration problems. Prepares, maintains and archives detailed system artifacts according to approved standards/procedures. Provides escalated (tier 3) support including on-call (after hours, weekends, holidays) for priority issues. Troubleshoots highly complex production issues and acts as escalation point. Evaluates and follows through on issues and problems until resolved. Identifies and leads process improvement efforts within teams. Contributes to and champions best practices, methods, standards, and processes. Anticipates and leads change in specific technical areas of focus. Leads the selection and evaluation of systems analysis software solutions and tools. Leads knowledge sharing and shared understanding amongst the team Provides functional training, procedural and technical guidance to less experienced staff. Works with team leadership to set and track delivery and development goals for individuals on team. Perform other duties as assigned.

Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on the area of responsibility. Contributes to the development of goals the area and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.). Manages large projects or processes with moderate impact on the achievement of sub-family results. Work is performed with limited oversight. Typically responsible for coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals. Provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans in order to implement operational objectives.

Leadership & Talent Management

Typically, responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area. Typically, responsible for managing major/complex projects at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products.

Additional responsibilities for this role

• Recruits, selects, coaches, and develops team members.
• When direct reports are assigned, conducts performance reviews per HR guidelines. Takes corrective actions, including Performance Improvement Plans and terminations, when necessary. Also manages professional growth and development plans.
• Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in Quality Assurance, with lead role with a broad knowledge of project or program management. Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and scaling automated test suites using Mabl Proven experience in setting up QA practices and standards in large organizations. Ability to work onsite 4 days per week. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution. Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus. A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected Excellent communication and leadership skills to work across multiple teams. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Required Skills

Sitecore Testing Expertise

Deep understanding of Sitecore CMS architecture and content management workflows Experience with Sitecore personalization, workflows, and content delivery testing Knowledge of Sitecore-specific testing challenges (e.g., content versioning, caching, publishing) Ability to design and execute functional, regression, and integration tests for Sitecore implementations

Mabl Automation Proficiency

Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and scaling automated test suites using Mabl Skill in designing resilient test automation scenarios for web applications Familiarity with Mabl’s AI-driven test execution, visual testing, and anomaly detection features Integration of Mabl automation within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

Technical & Tooling Skills

Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) Experience with version control systems and collaboration platforms (e.g., Git, Confluence) Basic scripting or programming skills to support automation customization (e.g., JavaScript, Python)

Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols, APIs

Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
