Role & seniority: Senior Technical Test Engineer (5+ years in software testing or equivalent in software development moving to test engineering)
Stack/tools: Karate (API), Cypress (UI), k6 (Performance); CI/CD integration; Cucumber; JavaScript/Node.js (preferred); Agile ceremonies; multi-skill squad
Compose complex test plans, execute tests, document results and interpret outputs
Build/maintain automation scripts and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate in an agile squad with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers; lead small tester groups; evaluate new tools/approaches
5+ years in software testing or relevant development experience with testing focus
Experience in test automation (writing/maintaining scripts)
Strong English communication; cross-team collaboration; understanding testing methodologies
Familiarity with Cucumber; awareness of Cypress/Karate DSL; proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js is a plus

About the role Joining our team as a Senior Technical Test Engineer you will collaborate with our cross-functional team to effectively test features/technology for the CSG Quote & Order product to maintain & improve quality standards. You will develop and execute tests using modern tools such as Karate (API), Cypress (UI) and k6 (Performance). Over time, you’ll become a Subject Matter Expert for our software, enabling you to make an impact on user experience and product design within our team. In your first 90 days, you’ll get comfortable with our system, join a squad, build strong relationships with the team, and get involved in new feature development to deliver high quality outcomes for our customers. What you will do Compose complex test plans, execute tests, document the results and understand the output. Use the latest tools like Karate (API), Cypress (UI) and k6 (Performance) to accelerate our test cycles. Work to connect our automation tools into our CI/CD pipelines. Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, reviews, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, etc. Be part of a multi-skill squad with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers and other Software Testers. Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and trends to keep us at the forefront of innovation and productivity. Lead small groups of testers as per project needs. Knowledge in software testing; research, design, methodologies/processes, implementation and documentation. Experience with Test Automation: Writing and maintaining automation test scripts. Highly effective at communicating in English, experience collaborating across multiple teams and a strong comprehension of written/verbal material. you are familiar with: Cucumber &It's a plus if you have Cypress, Karate DSL and Should have experience in one or more programming languages (preferably JavaScript/NodeJs).
