Stack/tools: Teradyne ATE (primary); analogue/digital electronics; mixed-signal PCB design; CAD/Simulation tools; Design Simulation and FPGA environments for pre-silicon verification.

Top 3 responsibilities

  1. Define and develop DFT to improve testability, quality, and cost.

  2. Pre-silicon verification of test solutions in Design Simulation and FPGA environments; design and implement multi-site high-performance test solutions.

  3. Execute test development phases: silicon functionality, debugging, characterization, yield analysis, solution optimization, and offshore production release; support rapid ramp of ultra-high-volume products.

Must-have skills

  • 6+ years in ATE Test Development; strong Teradyne/ATE program development experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of analogue and digital electronics; mixed-signal PCB design with CAD/Simulation tools.

  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.

The Position: The group is seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer to join our Cavite based team, working on the development of new product solutions for the areas listed above, for next generation portable product applications, as well being presented with future opportunities to undertake project Test Lead positions, engage with our Tier 1 Customers, along with mentorship/leadership opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with an extensive new product development team as part of a multi-Engineer Test team, assuming responsibility for the development of innovative high performance mass production ready hardware and software (including opportunities to undertake pre-silicon verification in Design Simulation and FPGA environments) for our leading-edge product portfolio, with a keen focus on cost optimization. Role and Responsibilities: DFT definition & development to improve testability, quality and reduce cost. Pre-silicon verification of Test solutions in Design Simulation and FPGA environments. Design of innovative, reliable and efficient multi-site Test solutions on high performance mixed signal ATE platforms. Execution of the Test development phase including Silicon functionality and debug, Characterization, Yield Analysis, solution optimization and Offshore Production release. Support the fast ramp of ultra hi-volume new products. Interface with a broad range of groups such as Assembly, Reliability & FA, H/W technology etc. With CSI peers and the wider Test Development community, drive for continuous advancement of measurement methodologies through improvement initiatives. Relevant Skills: 6+ years of ATE Test Development experience. Strong ATE program development skills (Teradyne platform ideally). In depth knowledge of Analogue and Digital Electronics. Knowledge of mixed signal PCB design and associated CAD/Simulation tools. Be self-motivated, willing to take on responsibility, and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems. Strong analytical skills with a proven track record for solving complex problems via planning, debug, data analysis and reporting. Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills are essential.
