Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on QA Automation Lead / Manager to drive automation across web applications, data platforms, AI/GenAI solutions, and system integrations. This role requires a blend of technical depth, leadership, and curiosity to adopt emerging AI-enabled testing practices. The ideal candidate will lead a small QA team, contribute to automation strategy, and collaborate closely with software development, data, and AI teams.
Must-Have Qualifications
Hands-on experience with at least one UI automation tool: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress. Solid API testing experience (Postman/Newman, REST Assured, etc.). Proven experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Comfortable working hybrid from Pune with US overlap until ~10: 30/11 pm IST. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience with data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, cloud data warehouses). Exposure to testing AI/ML models, LLM-based applications, or prompt-driven workflows. Performance testing skills (JMeter, k6, Locust). Experience in Energy & Utilities / Retail Energy domains. Prior experience in IT services or consulting environments.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain automated test suites: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and basic non-functional tests. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / Jenkins) with well-defined quality gates. Define and manage test data strategy, test environments, mocks, stubs, and dependency simulations. Work with engineering teams to ensure features are “testable by design” and defects are identified early.
Note: Deep AI expertise is not required—strong automation skills and willingness to learn are key.
