Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 / year
Role & seniority: Automated Software Test Engineer (mid-level), full-time
Stack/tools: GUI testing with Eggplant; Python and/or other scripting languages; C++; GitLab or Bitbucket; MBSE tools familiarity (Nice-to-have); Java (Nice-to-have)
Schedule, manage, and monitor system test events and execution timelines
Analyze test data, identify issues, and adjust test plans to evolving system behavior
Design/implement test plans, integration plans, and procedures for system-level validation; develop verification strategies from system requirements
U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Bachelor’s in STEM and 2+ years’ experience (or Master’s) in test design/implementation for system-level integration
Proficiency in C++ and scripting (Python); experience with Eggplant or similar GUI testing tools
Experience with GitLab or Bitbucket for source control; ability to interpret system requirements
CompTIA Security+ (Active)
Experience with GMD or Missile Defense Agency programs; Java knowledge
MBSE tool familiarity (Cameo Systems Modeler); Top Secret Clearance (preferred)
Location & work type: Huntsville, AL; onsite; full-time with an ESOP contractor arrangement; schedule 9x80 (every other Friday off)

Automated Software Test Engineer Full-Time with an ESOP Contractor | Onsite in Huntsville, AL
Schedule: 9x80 (Every Other Friday Off) | Position is off-post, not Redstone Arsenal Software Test Engineer to support the GMD Weapon System (GWS) team on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system. On the Ground Support Systems (GSS) IPT, you will be responsible for scheduling the tests for execution as well as monitoring, measuring, controlling, and reporting on the test progress, the product quality status, and the test results. Candidates must have the ability to adapt the test plan and compensate as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.
