Full Description
The Integration Engineer supports fielding, integration, and test execution activities for system refreshes at DoD Live Training Facilities. This role requires a hands-on engineer capable of integrating hardware, software, and networking components while assisting in formal test events and on-site system verification across multiple Army installations. The position is field-intensive and requires frequent travel to sites for support installation, integration, testing, cybersecurity coordination, and Government Acceptance Testing (GAT). The successful candidate is comfortable operating in dynamic field environments and supporting multiple technical disciplines as part of an integrated team.
Primary Responsibilities Integrate subsystems, including servers, workstations, Video System Suite, networking infrastructure, and supporting peripherals. Support integration of Government Furnished Information (GFI) software and ensure compatibility with refreshed hardware. Assist with rack-and-stack, cabling, labeling, system imaging, and baseline configuration activities. Configure and validate LAN infrastructure, including VLANs, routing, and network connectivity. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network integration issues during fielding and test activities. Execute approved test procedures in accordance with test plans, collect test data, document results, and assist with the resolution of test discrepancies. Participate in the execution of Baseline Tests, In-Plant Tests, Contractor Tests, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and Government Acceptance Tests (GAT). Provide on-site technical support during training, testing, and transition activities. Coordinate with systems, configuration management, network, cybersecurity, and test personnel to support successful site fielding and acceptance. Qualifications
