Ensure the quality of mobile products and backend services relied on by millions of pet parents worldwide Own the QA process across mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their supporting backend systems Plan, design, and execute manual test cases to ensure functional, usability, and regression coverage Perform end-to-end testing across mobile applications and APIs, ensuring seamless integration between client and server Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and designers to refine acceptance criteria and catch issues early Contribute to automation efforts by identifying critical test cases suitable for automated coverage Participate in the development of new features and products, from early design discussions to release validation Act as a quality advocate within agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban), driving quality best practices and risk-based testing approaches Proactively improve our testing strategies, QA processes, and documentation Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things” Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level
Your profile
Proven experience in manual testing for mobile applications (iOS & Android) and their corresponding backend services Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or similar Familiarity with test case design techniques, exploratory testing, and regression testing strategies Experience collaborating in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) Strong understanding of the bug lifecycle, defect management, and release testing Experience working with issue-tracking systems such as Jira or similar Basic familiarity with UI automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, TestCafe, or mobile automation tools) is a plus Degree in Computer Science or related field Strong communication skills and excellent English skills
