Role & seniority: Experienced Verification Engineer (senior/lead level)
Stack/tools: DOORS, Jira; test & defect management systems; collaboration with systems and software teams
Verify system compliance against functional and system baselines
Develop and execute system-level verification and validation activities; contribute to requirements analysis to ensure testability
Support formal Acceptance Verification & Validation (AV&V); produce/maintain test procedures, reports, and verification artefacts; manage defects and regression testing
Strong experience in system verification/testing of complex software systems
Background in Air Traffic Management (ATM) or other safety-critical environments
Familiarity with ATM standards (ICAO, Eurocontrol, AIDC)
Experience with DOORS, Jira, and test/defect management systems
Excellent communication and ability to work in integrated engineering teams
Defence or regulated industry experience
Australian Defence Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one

We're partnering with a global leader in airspace and mission‑critical systems to support a major national program delivering next‑generation Air Traffic Management capability. This is a long-term contract opportunity for an experienced Verification Engineer who enjoys working on complex, safety‑critical systems and wants to make a real-world impact.
Based in Melbourne CBD, you'll play a key role in verifying highly complex ATM systems that support civil and defence aviation operations. You'll work within a collaborative, senior engineering environment on a programme of national significance - with stability, visibility and longevity.
