About The Role
What will you do?🦾
As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing strategies, identifying and tracking defects, and improving overall test efficiency. Working closely with the QA team, developers, and product managers, you will help create a seamless and bug-free user experience. Your expertise in automation, CI/CD integration, and test planning will be essential in scaling our quality assurance processes as we grow.
Your Responsibilities
Functional automation testing: develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
Test strategy & planning: define test strategies, plans, and test cases aligned with business needs.
Bug Identification & reporting: track and prioritize defects to ensure resolution before release.
Continuous improvement: refine testing processes and enhance efficiency.
Mentoring developers: guide on writing testable code and best practices.
CI/CD integration: embed automated tests in CI/CD pipelines to prevent regressions
What Are We Looking For? 👀
Programming skills: strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation.
Test planning & strategy: ability to design structured test plans and cases.
CI/CD workflow: experience integrating automated tests into pipelines like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Bug tracking & reporting: skilled in using Jira or similar tools to log and manage defects.
Version control: proficient in Git for managing test script repositories.
API Testing: experience with Playwright, Postman, or REST Assured.
Database Knowledge: basic SQL for validating test data.
Troubleshooting: ability to analyze logs and pinpoint root causes of failures. Proficiency in Italian (intermediate) and English (intermediate)
Proactive Ownership: ability to work autonomously, championing best practices and steering the team toward more robust and efficient QA processes.
