Role & seniority: Senior Automation Engineer / Lead, focused on product validation and test automation.
Stack/tools: Python; automated test frameworks (Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium); CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI); experience with test automation tooling; optional: Docker, Kubernetes, shell/C/C++, Java.
Design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and tools; develop validation strategies and test plans.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts; execute test suites, analyze results, and report to stakeholders; identify and document bugs.
Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, QA, product management), and document processes and results.
5+ years in product validation, test automation, or software development.
Strong Python expertise and experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools; excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills; proven ability to design scalable automated test solutions; mentoring/leadership experience.
Hardware validation in consumer electronics or embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
Design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and tools using Python.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for new and existing products. Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using python Executing test suites, analyzing results and reporting to stakeholders Identifying documenting and tracking bugs Enhancing the automation framework for reliability, efficiency and robustness Mentor and guide junior engineers in automation best practices and Python development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, QA, product management) to define validation requirements and deliverables. Document automation processes, test results, and provide clear reports to stakeholders. Stay updated on the latest automation technologies, Python libraries, and industry best practices.

Work Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in product validation, test automation, or software development. Strong expertise in Python programming and automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.). Proven experience designing and implementing scalable automated test solutions. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hardware validation and automation in consumer electronics or embedded systems. Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Shell, C/C++, Java). Experience with cloud-based test infrastructure and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of test management tools and reporting dashboards. Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
