Key Responsibilities
To get familiar with relays (Intelligent Electronic devices) and develop good understanding on their functionality.
Create test cases and test scripts based on user stories and requirements. Design functional verification test plans to validate performance, boundary and negative testing Perform regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products. Identify and ensure requirements traceability to test cases. Collaborate with other teams to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time. Own and execute test cases for each requirement as part of an agile iteration schedule. Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them. Assist in prioritization of reported defects and work with software developers to facilitate timely closure Verify resolution of resolved defects Record and report test results in an effective manner.

Work Experience
Required Skills and Experience
A graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of proven experience as a manual tester. Proficiency in test management and defect management in an Agile environment with tools like JIRA and confluence Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC. Proficiency in test design technique (determining test conditions, test cases and test data during software testing) Automation for GUI application, Python programming Basic Knowledge of DLL & C++ / C# Familiarity with Communication interface trouble shooting; Should be aware of different communication channels like Serial/USB/Ethernet and protocols like CS-103 and DNP3. Competencies in the use of test tools and test automation, familiar with scripting tools (e.g. python, VB Script) and test automation tools (Any automation tool like UFT/SilkTest middle level experience should be added advantage) Working with global teams, should be able to communicate with ease and clear knowledge about different Operating Systems (windows10/11, English, non-English validation only)
