Role & seniority: QA Engineer/QA Intern (12-month internship) within Bosch Home Comfort, Aveiro.
Stack/tools: Python; software testing principles and processes; state-of-the-art test automation framework; automated test case design and maintenance; collaboration in an international team.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for critical user flows and complex edge scenarios.
Actively collaborate in a multidisciplinary QA team across the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to the test automation framework’s continuous improvement and participate in technical discussions to solve quality challenges.
Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Solid Python programming experience.
Interest in software development and quality assurance; proactive, quality-oriented mindset.
Ability to collaborate in an international team; good written and verbal communication.
Experience with test automation frameworks and mobile app testing.
Familiarity with IoT/embedded or home-automation contexts; exposure to CI/CD practices.
English proficiency; prior internship or project experience in QA.
