Role & seniority: Product/Test Engineering intern (entry level; internship). Possible track roles: Validation/Characterization Engineer, Product Engineer, or Test Engineer within TI’s product portfolio.
Stack/tools: testing and characterization; design, debugging, and correlation of test hardware and software; development of production/test specifications; interface and measurement circuits to align tester capabilities with product definitions; production documentation and cross-functional collaboration (design, quality, test engineering).
Test, troubleshoot, and characterize product issues; develop and manage test specifications.
Support product development and lifecycle activities (definition, qualification, manufacturing, cost optimization, quality) and interface with multiple teams.
Create and maintain product documentation; resolve customer quality/applications issues; design/test interfaces to ensure tester compatibility with product definitions.
Enrolled in an engineering program (preferred degree aligned with role).
Ability to work across cross-functional teams and participate in problem-solving activities.
Fundamentals in test hardware/software, data analysis, and documentation.
Experience with validation/characterization, yield improvement or cost optimization projects.
