Role & seniority: Product, Test or Validation Engineer (entry-level via TI Career Accelerator Program, CAP)
Stack/tools: Data analysis; manufacturing systems knowledge; test engineering (basic test concepts, automated test equipment, hardware design, software development); bench setups; product qualification and reliability testing; device failure verification; verification and release to manufacturing
Develop, qualify and support TI analog and embedded processing products across product, test and validation functions
Drive profitability for assigned product lines: new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion, yield enhancement; lead cross-functional problem solving with manufacturing sites
Serve as primary contact for operational aspects of the product portfolio; resolve customer quality/app issues; build relationships with wafer fabrication and assembly sites
Understanding of product qualification, reliability tests and their implications
Proficiency with basic test concepts and automated test equipment
Hardware design and software development; problem solving and data analysis; ability to bench-verify/characterize
Experience with test software/hardware integration, manufacturing readiness, and cross-functional collaboration
Familiarity with device debugging and verification processes; exposure to validation concepts and bench setups

As a product, test and validation engineer, you play a vital role in assuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products. From test software and hardware development, product debugging and test optimization – you help ensure our products are consistently competitive and leading in the market. In each of these roles you'll dive deeper into manufacturing, quality, design verification or validation engineering. In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving. You'll also take a leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in TI wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.
