Role & seniority: Manual QA Engineer (mid-level), part of a small core QA team within a 5-dev, 1-manual QA, 1-automation QA group
Stack/tools: Node.js backend, Vue frontend, MySQL, Redis, AWS hosting, GitHub + GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts for a SaaS digital marketing platform
Perform API testing and ensure data integrity across services; collaborate with developers in Scrum cycles
Participate in requirement elicitation, functional spec writing, and QA deliverables; maintain defect tracking
3+ years manual testing experience
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, test planning, and test case design
API testing, SQL queries, and Postman proficiency
Jira or similar bug-tracking experience; Scrum environment exposure
Experience writing BDD scenarios; strong business/functional acumen
English at C1 level or equivalent
Familiarity with Node.js, Vue, MySQL, Redis, AWS

About the role. You will be joining a team of 5 Devs, 1 Manual QA, 1 Automation QA. Now we are looking for a Manual QA Engineer for one of our key projects where we build a best-in-class digital marketing platform for local media and digital agencies. We are developing a SaaS-based platform to enable fast proposals, self-serve ad campaign management, automated fulfillment, and insightful and actionable reporting and analytics.
Our Tech Stack: CloudGeometry’s project is about building complex technical products; therefore, experience or at least familiarity with the following stack is a significant advantage, you will eventually touch all of it.
Most of our services are written in Node JS with the front end being written on Vue We use MySQL as our database of choice. For the request and data caching layer, we utilize Redis Almost everything we run is hosted on AWS for optimized data access and easy scalability We use GitHub and GitHub actions to host our repositories and run various pipelines.
