Full Description

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.

Design, develop, and execute test automation scripts (if applicable).

Identify, log, track, and validate defects using standard defect tracking tools.

Ensure software quality through end‑to‑end validation of user workflows and system functionality.

Participate in Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and UI/UX teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

Conduct performance testing, API testing, and security validation where required.

Prepare test summary reports and ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Expertise

Core QA Skills

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and maintaining documentation.

Proficiency in manual testing for web, mobile, and backend systems.

Good understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, RestAssured.

Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or equivalents.

Ability to validate UI, functional flows, and backend validations.

Automation Skills (Include/Exclude based on requirement)

Experience with Selenium WebDriver / Cypress / Playwright / Appium.

Hands-on experience with programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.

Test automation framework development (Hybrid, POM, BDD with Cucumber).

Experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Preferred Skills

Experience in large enterprise environments (Telecom domain is an advantage).

Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries).

Familiarity with performance testing tools: JMeter, LoadRunner (optional).

Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Show more Show less
