Top 3 responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and monitor vehicle/component validation and endurance tests (inhouse and field)

  • Supervise proto machine builds and manage proto parts movement; log concerns and communicate with Design Team

  • Release test reports with findings/recommendations; support compliance testing with certifying authorities; assist product benchmarking

Must-have skills

  • 5–8 years in vehicle/component level validation, preferably mining/off-road equipment

  • Electrical engineering background (BE)

  • Experience with CAN data analysis (CANALYZER), data loggers, and test equipment

  • Ability to prepare test cases and test reports; bug reporting and closure (JIRA)

  • Understanding of hydraulic systems and vehicle-level testing

Nice-to-haves

  • EV experience

  • Epiroc machine knowledge

  • Experience with Design Verification Plans and field testing

  • Data analysis software beyond basic MS Office

Job Description

Supervise Proto Machine Build & Manage Proto Parts Movement

Log Proto Build Concerns & Communicate same to Design Team

Conduct V&V Test (Pressure/Temp Mapping, Electrical V&V, Software Verification etc)

Plan & Monitor Endurance Test (Both Inhouse & field test)

Release Test Reports with findings & recommendations, if any

Support Compliance Test with Certifying Authorities ARAI/i-CAT

Support Product Benchmarking

Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in. The role involves hands on working on Epiroc machines for planning & execution of Data Acquisition, measurement, performance testing & Field Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong background vehicle level testing & widely used test equipment.

Experience Requirements

5-8 yrs. of experience – Vehicle/component level validation preferably on Mining / Earth moving equipment /off road vehicles.

Education

BE –Electrical Engineering

Tool knowledge

MS Office & Data analysis software

Knowledge Requirement

Experience with the Vehicle Industry and EV is a plus.

Experience in CANALYZER, CAN Data Analysis

Software Testing Exposure

Understanding Test cases & Test Report Preparation

Identifying Bugs & reporting-monitoring closure in JIRA

Hydraulic System Understanding

Epiroc Machine Knowledge will be added to the advantage

Strong understanding of test equipment used for testing & their analysis software.

Handson experience on handling data loggers & their analysis software

Experience in handling shop floor activities & Contract resources

Worked on Design Verification Plan to confirm specification meets requirements

Personality Requirement

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
