About Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET who brings strong engineering fundamentals, deep automation capability, and a passion for quality in distributed, cloud-based systems. This role involves designing test strategies, improving automation frameworks, and working closely with developers to ensure the reliability and security of complex backup workflows. You will contribute across the full lifecycle - from feature design and white-box testing to deployment and validation in cloud environments. Key Responsibilities
Agile Collaboration: Work closely with the development team in an Agile environment to understand functional specifications and design requirements.
Test Planning: Independently create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones and feature completion.
Automation Frameworks: Leverage existing automation frameworks to automate feature tests and actively augment libraries to support new functionalities.
End-to-End Ownership: Own the complete test execution cycle for user stories, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Testing Strategy: Perform a mix of automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
Infrastructure Management: Create, maintain, and document testbed setups and environments.
Quality Assurance: Timely reporting, tracking, and updating of issues and test cases using management tools.
Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality benchmarks are met throughout the development lifecycle.
B. Tech / B.E / M.E./ M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent.
