Why This Role Matters As a Quality Engineer, you will support manufacturing processes and product quality by applying Goodyear standards and tools to solve problems and drive continuous improvement. Your work ensures high-quality products, optimizes production processes, and enhances customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do Apply quality engineering tools to improve process and product performance Support implementation of new products, processes, and technologies while ensuring compliance with specifications Lead process improvement initiatives and contribute to plant optimization projects Track and report process performance indicators, identifying opportunities for corrective action Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and implement innovative solutions Develop and maintain product and process technical documentation to meet internal and external requirements Audit compliance and support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation What You’ll Bring Basic Qualifications VI/VII degree in Technical, Chemical, or Engineering discipline Prior exposure to manufacturing quality systems and product compliance standards Knowledge of root-cause analysis methods in industrial or automotive production environments Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Advanced English language skills Team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and ability to meet tight deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with project management and quality tools (A3, DMAIC, MiniTab, BrainCube) Familiarity with new product development and cross-functional collaboration Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively across teams We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
