Position Overview As a Processor Verification Engineer at Axelera AI, you will join a team responsible for the verification of an in-house designed RISC-V based AI Processor Core and its sub-components. Your role will be critical in achieving the highest level of quality and performance in our products. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible. This is not a cookie-cutter role and the successful applicant is expected to bring experience to drive a pragmatic and effective approach to a complicated problem space. Education: A degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering or computer science or other relevant discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC or FPGA verification, with a strong focus on processor verification especially using instruction set simulators.
Verification Expertise: Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++ or Python for designing and implementing testbenches, and test cases for processor verification. Understanding of verification flow for creating verification plans and coverage metrics. Experience with processor models such as Spike and QEMU are an advantage.
Collaboration / Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work closely with processor architecture, RTL design, software and compiler teams to ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, shell or Tcl for automation.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
