Role & seniority: Certification Support Test Engineer (mid-level)
Stack/tools: Cellular technologies (5G NR / 4G-LTE / 3G, 36/38 3GPP series); testing tools; field and lab testing; debugging tools (e.g., QXDM); coordination with carriers, labs, and R&D
Define test campaigns and conduct pre-testing, field testing, remote and mobile testing to obtain carrier approvals
Collect logs, troubleshoot issues, and create test reports; provide guidance to Development/R&D to improve SW/HW quality
Interface with carrier labs and certification bodies; ensure configurations are correct and support issue resolution
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication or Communication Engineering
2+ years in software/firmware development or validation for IoT/PC Module/Automotive/Handset products
Experience with cellular wireless tech (5G NR / 4G-LTE / 3G, 36/38 3GPP) and direct work with testing laboratories
Travel availability within the US; strong communication and cross-team coordination
Field testing experience; experience with lab testing tools beyond basics

Support certification pre-testing, field testing, remote and mobile testing.
Assessing regulatory, industry and global network operator certification and testing requirements
for Automotive, PC Module, and IoT products to demonstrate conformance.
Interface with varous carrier labs, and certification bodies to attain product certification.
Ensure product customizations and configurations are accurate and correct.
Issue resolution tracking and assist with debugging support and resolution.
Bachelor Degree, preferably in Telecommunication or Communication Engineering
Experience with cellular wireless communication technologies(5G NR /4G-LTE /3G, 36/38 series of 3GPP);
Experience working directly with testing laboratories required, testing tools, in addtion to Field Testing preferred;
At least 2 years' relevant experience in software/firmware development or validation for IoT/PC Module/Automotive/Handset products, with skills in Debug Tools such as QXDM etc.
Available for travel, sometime on short notice within US Market
