Role & seniority: Wireless Test Engineer (mid- to senior-level) focused on 3GPP wireless verification for space-ground IoT system.
Stack/tools: 3GPP LTE/5G NR stack and PHY; Python scripting (C where needed); test/automation frameworks; wireless test gear (Amarisoft, Viavi, Propsim, Spirent, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz); log/pcap analysis; Jira for defect tracking.
Set up and maintain wireless test automation environments (lab and HIL) for 3GPP features.
Design, implement, and execute test cases for LTE/5G NR stack and PHY; automate test execution and results analysis.
Analyze logs/pcaps, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues to closure with cross-functional teams; produce test reports.
5+ years hands-on wireless test engineering experience; proven 3GPP stack/PHY testing (LTE, preferably 5G NR).
Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of C; experience with test measurement tools and log/pcap analysis.
Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking; ability to document findings clearly.
Experience with satellite/NTN or mission-critical wireless systems; HIL test architecture or large-scale automated regression frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD integration of automated tests; startup/fast-paced R&D environment.

We are looking for a Wireless Test Engineer to help us validate next-generation 4G/5G communications systems that will power our constellation and ground infrastructure. In this role, you will own the test environment and test strategy for 3GPP-based wireless features, with a strong focus on PHY and protocol stack verification. You will develop automated test suites, analyze logs and pcap traces, and work closely with software, systems, and RF engineers to drive issues to closure and ensure high-reliability deployments for our space and ground products.
This position is based in our Arlington, TX office. \n

The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities.
