HX5 is currently seeking a Test & Evaluation Specialist to join the team at Eglin AFB in Niceville, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing. Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs. Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise. Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity. Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks. Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness. Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification). De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
Education and Experience
Associates degree and twenty (20) years of professional experience OR Bachelors degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience
Preferences
Prior working knowledge and experience with test planning and execution of Electronic Warfare (EW), mission planning or ELINT
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time on-site position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements
Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to travel as necessary. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire.
