YOUR ROLE
As Test Automation Engineer, you are involved in the automated verification and validation of products made by engineers in a development process. Your technical and professional knowledge of Test Automation, programming, test environments and methodologies is solid. With your knowledge and experience with one or more test tools and test techniques, you can independently design and execute test automation solutions. You follow the latest developments in your field and you know what is going on.
As a QA Automation Expert, you are expected to develop automation solutions, create tools strategy, create automation approach, evaluate tools, perform technical feasibility, build business cases (ROI) and estimate automation effort. You are expected to implement automation solutions in different projects and deliver cost/effort savings to customer. You are expected to work independently, if required, to provide consultancy services to customers.
YOUR TASKS
Design, develop, and maintain an advanced test automation framework using Java and Playwright, Build scalable, maintainable, and stable UI tests covering core business workflows, Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their reliability, Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps in an Agile setup, Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews, Analyze test results and raise quality improvement suggestions when necessary.
YOUR PROFILE
4–5+ years of professional experience in test automation, with 2+ years hands-on experience in Playwright, Expert-level knowledge of Playwright Cypress for UI and end-to-end testing, Strong proficiency in Java, Solid understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar), Experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks, Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.), Strong analytical skills and ability to work in complex technical environments, Good communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
