Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps / Infrastructure Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, cloud provisioning, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure using modern IaC and CI/CD tools, while driving an automation-first culture across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, automate, and manage infrastructure using Ansible for configuration management and environment provisioning. Develop and manage cloud resources using AWS CDK, following scalable and reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns. Build automation tools, microservices, and reusable CDK constructs using TypeScript in enterprise environments. Architect, deploy, and maintain AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, and CloudWatch. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Containerize applications and manage orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Implement observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus. Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization across cloud and containerized environments. Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments. Promote DevOps best practices and contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Essential Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible. Strong expertise in AWS CDK with reusable and scalable IaC design patterns. Proficiency in TypeScript for automation, microservices, and CDK development.
Strong understanding of core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, CloudWatch. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and Agile/DevOps environments.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation. Exposure to AWS Mobile Hub & AWS Mobile Services. Experience with Microsoft IAM or identity and access management solutions. Experience working in large-scale or enterprise cloud environments.
