Role & seniority: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
Stack/tools: Supplier quality management; statistical data analysis; supplier audits/surveys; on-site supplier system audits; data-driven decision making; corrective action leadership; experience with test/inspection requirements and workmanship criteria; management of Approved Supplier List and supplier performance reporting
Plan and implement supplier controls and improvement; develop supplier rating reports and analyze performance
Conduct on-site supplier audits, surveys, and correlate results to determine suitability and compliance; lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions
Monitor supplier performance, analyze rejects/trends, initiate corrective actions, and maintain qualification/testing requirements and supplier lists
Bachelor’s degree required (engineering/manufacturing or related technical field preferred)
5+ years of manufacturing engineering or quality experience
Experience with supplier quality processes, audits, data analysis, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
Ability to travel to supplier sites and present performance data to senior management
Related military service or equivalent experience
Experience developing process improvement plans with suppliers and disqualifying underperforming suppliers when warranted
Familiarity with customer requirements and test/inspection c
