SUMMARY OF ROLE The Quality Supplier Engineer drives measurable improvements in supplier quality performance by ensuring products and processes meet defined standards, reducing non-conformities, and implementing robust quality control and corrective action systems. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and monitor the quality performance of product suppliers by working closely with the Purchasing Department and the Quality Assurance function to consolidate the existing supplier base and to support the qualification and development of new potential suppliers; Plan, conduct, and manage audit activities related to product suppliers, including follow-up of corrective actions; Coordinate Quality Control activities for supplied products, both at incoming goods inspection and directly at supplier sites; Monitor and analyze supplier quality data, including defect rates, non-conformities (NCs), and their status and trends; Lead and further develop the Monthly Supplier Quality Meeting, reviewing supplier performance and defining improvement actions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers. REQUIREMENTS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related fields) or equivalent technical background; Previous experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control within a manufacturing or industrial environment; Solid knowledge of quality management systems and standards; Experience in conducting supplier audits and managing corrective and preventive actions; Ability to analyze quality data and KPIs (defect rates, NCs, supplier performance indicators); Good understanding of incoming inspection processes and supplier quality control methodologies; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Quality, and external suppliers; Structured, problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation; Good command of the English language, both written and spoken; Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier sites.
