Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our innovative team, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of automation systems in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in robotics and control systems to enhance our manufacturing processes and ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop automation solutions for semiconductor manufacturing processes. Implement and optimize control systems using PLCs and HMIs. (we primarily use Beckhoff PLCs) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics and motion control systems. Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues to minimize downtime. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on automation equipment. Document engineering designs, processes, and system changes for compliance and training purposes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in automation and control systems within the semiconductor industry. Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and motion control technologies. Familiarity with robotics and their application in manufacturing environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
