Works closely with or as a member of software development teams. On a daily basis performs

functional, exploratory, regression and integration testing of software products, including software that is part of an integrated client solution. Approves software changes for release and takes responsibility for assuring that any

released company products meet applicable quality standards; assures visibility of the overall quality level

to managers (whatever it is). This role is perfect for a proactive individual who is passionate about quality and eager to grow their skills in both manual, automated testing and performance testing.

Responsibilities

Perform various testing activities, including System, Functional, Integration, Regression, and Acceptance testing. Analyze the usability and visual consistency of our graphical user interfaces to ensure a seamless user experience. Assist in understanding business requirements and help establish clear acceptance criteria for new features. Automate and execute test suites for our browser, mobile, and API platforms using the Playwright scripting tool. Contribute to performance testing efforts using tools like JMeter, ALM, or k6, and analyze application behavior using observability platforms such as Datadog and Grafana. Understand and apply different test automation frameworks, such as Page Object Model (POM) with BDD/Cucumber. Write and execute SQL queries to perform data verification and ensure data integrity. Maintain and manage test data and the test infrastructure to support our testing efforts. Actively participate in the Agile process, including iteration planning, continuous integration, and release activities. Collaborate with the product development team to diagnose, replicate, and resolve product failures. Clearly document test results, track defects, and report on testing progress. Provide insightful feedback on software design, user experience, and engineering documentation. Contribute to our QA best practices, processes, and guidelines to foster a culture of quality. Identify and document actual or potential problems in test plans or the software. Participate in root cause analysis of defects to drive continuous improvement. Explore and utilize AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and others to enhance day-to-day productivity and innovation.
