Forte Group is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality automated and manual tests to ensure the stability and performance of our products. This role involves both automation (70%) and manual testing (30%) for critical business scenarios. We are seeking someone who is independent, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
About the Product Our product and engineering team owns an enterprise-class workload automation platform that provides a centralized, enterprise-wide interface for planning and controlling the execution of business processes via automation of jobs scheduling and workflow orchestration across multiple applications, systems and infrastructure. The entire product ecosystem consists of several applications tightly integrated with each other and used to orchestrate complex IT workflows, optimize workload automation activities, provide centralized management of schedules, collect analytics and stream data related to the software operations.

Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for new features using Cypress and Playwright. Contribute to and enhance the existing Test Automation Framework (TAF). Execute manual testing for new functionalities, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QE peers to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing in agile development cycles. Identify, document, and track defects through the entire lifecycle. Investigate and validate third-party integrations, identifying issues and ensuring compatibility and reliability across connected systems. Continuously improve test strategies, tools, and processes to increase test efficiency and effectiveness. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QE team members when needed.
Qualifications and Skills 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation. Proven experience with Playwright, and proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices. Hands-on experience with test design, test case management, and defect tracking tools Experience in building/supporting REST-based API automation Knowledge of Docker is essential Performance testing experience is a plus AI Agents, Tools usage would be a plus Familiarity with Github Actions would be a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment. Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
