Our Customer is a leading streaming technology company that provides a platform for delivering digital content to TVs through its streaming devices, smart TVs, and software. The company also operates an advertising business, offering targeted ad solutions and monetization tools for content providers.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation systems and unit testing, with a focus on Python Proven expertise in developing and maintaining automated test suites Proficient in GitLab with a solid understanding of version control workflows Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail), defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira), and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence) Strong familiarity with Linux, including bash scripting Working knowledge of embedded devices and system-level testing Good understanding of React and React-like libraries Prior experience writing and executing comprehensive QA test plans Skilled in generating, analyzing, and presenting quantitative reports to stakeholders Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving environments Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, showing strong self-direction

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field ISEB or ISTQB certification is an advantage

Job responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python Transform manual test cases into reliable, repeatable automated test scenarios Collaborate closely with QA, firmware, and development teams to ensure robust and scalable automated testing solutions Set up, manage, and optimize test automation infrastructure, tools, and environments Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance Investigate and debug failing tests to improve both product quality and automation reliability. Schedule, execute, and monitor automated test runs, analyzing results and logging defects as needed Leverage test logs, KPIs, and failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Contribute to the Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline, including running component builds, creating deployment jobs in Jenkins, and executing automated functional tests at various stages
