ServiceNow QA/Tester

Location: Charlotte NC 28206 (3days Onsite - Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months , Contract to Hire

Pay: $60-65/hr W2 ONLY, NO C2C

Must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship.

Summary

  • As part of the ServiceNow Delivery organization, the Quality Assurance Analyst owns end-to-end quality outcomes for ServiceNow-related implementations. The purpose of this role is to execute software testing processes and other quality assurance processes. These processes would include developing testing artifacts using established templates; developing and executing testing events that include functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing activities. Defect entry, management and resolution will be part of this role as well. This role must be able to articulate project risks from a quality delivery perspective and do so with supporting facts.

This analyst position will partner with product owners, platform engineers, and business stakeholders/users to plan testing, manage execution, track defects, and provide guidance and mentoring to partners that lack software testing experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning Define test strategy and scope for ServiceNow features, integrations, and release. Create and maintain test plans, test documentation, and traceability matrixes.

Test Execution Write comprehensive test cases and detailed test scripts. Track and report test statistics Estimate effort, schedule cycles, align milestones. Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) Lead SIT for ServiceNow modules and integrations. Validate workflows, data mappings, roles, automation UAT Coordination Plan/coordinate UAT; define scenarios and acceptance criteria. Facilitate execution, track findings, triage issues. MUST be comfortable with and able to facilitate groups through test execution Coordinate Performance Testing Define NFRs and SLAs; design workload models. Coordinate execution; analyze results.

Manage Defects & Risks Own defect lifecycle. Communicate risks and mitigation. Manage Test Data, Environments & Tools Oversee environments and test data. Champion QA tools.

Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Provide daily status, metrics. Facilitate triage and decision forums.

QA Process Maturity & Improvement Support the standardization practices set by the overall Servicenow Delivery Test Manager; drive improvements.

Skills & Competencies Communication, organization, facilitation. Agile and Waterfall experience. Automation/performance tool familiarity.

Tools & Technologies ServiceNow platform. Azure DevOps/TFS, MTM. Automation/performance tools.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor s or equivalent; 5+ years QA/testing.
  • 3+ years UAT coordination.
  • Group presentation skills
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (Compliance requirement)

Preferred

  • QA process development.
  • Hands-on test automation script writing.
  • Servicenow Testing Experience (not required)
