I’m helping ProviderLINK find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Virtual Insurance Benefits Verification Specialist.

You'll empower patient access to vital healthcare by expertly managing insurance and communications.

• You are proficient in Insurance verification, Healthcare administrative support, Health insurance, Electronic medical records (EMR), Electronic health record (EHR).
• English - Conversational
• Spanish - Fully fluent

Responsibilities and more

• Requires experience with US healthcare insurance.
• Bilingual required. (English/Spanish)

1. Handling Faxes/ Filing Documents in EMR:

• Receiving and distribute/file incoming faxes

2. Follow-Up & Email Communication Duties

• Send post-visit follow-up emails or texts to patients with summaries or instructions

• Track and manage lab results, imaging, referrals, treatment plan reminders

• Respond to incoming patient emails or messages

• Monitor no-shows and cancellations; reach out to reschedule

3. Appointment Confirmations

• Confirming appointments with patients via phone, email, or text message

4. Physician Referrals & Online Appointments

• Contact patients who submitted online appointment requests to confirm scheduling and answer general questions

5. Insurance / Benefits Verification

• Verify the patient's insurance coverage and specific CPT code benefits coverage by contacting the insurance company or using online portals to verify the patient's eligibility, coverage details, and any pre-authorization requirements.

6. Estimation

• Use insurance portals, benefit tools, or estimator software to calculate patient out-of-pocket costs for procedures, office visits, or diagnostics
